You Were Born to be Great
I believe every person can encounter their God-given potential for greatness when they believe in their value, that they are enough. When we don’t believe we are good enough, we operate from this place. It is not that we are there yet or encountered all our potential, but when we can identify as being good enough as our staring point, our potential is unleashed and released to the freedom we have to imagine and create much more incredible things.
It is not often that someone has a baby and says, I don’t want my child because they are not good enough. When a child is rejected it is because of the parents brokenness, not the child’s. But for some reason as we grow up we start to believe the lie that we are not good enough, and it seems to get louder and louder in our head the older we get. And unless we change this setting, we will continue to believe we are not good enough and operate out of this setting instead of our God-given potential for greatness.
Every day I choose to remember my new setting that I have reset so I can continually operate from this new setting - although some days are more difficult than others. I take responsibility for my thoughts, and make sure they are the truth, because the truth sets me free to dream and imagine great things that God has given me the potential to encounter and succeed.
Declare out loud with me today, ‘I am enough and I have the potential for greater things’ This is the truth, you are enough because God does not make mistakes and he created you enough to do great things in your life.
